Higher Education Professional
Kyle is a higher education professional with expertise in curriculum design & development, teaching & learning strategies, and faculty development. Kyle is passionate about supporting student success, and approaches his work with a student-centered philosophy.
He is also an experienced instructor, currently teaching at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Past teaching roles include online or face-to-face courses at Texas State Technical College, Baylor University, McLennan Community College, and St. Lawrence College.
Kyle is intentional about grounding his practice in theory and research. He contributes to higher education scholarship through publications and conference presentations. He is trained and experienced in both quantitative and qualitative research methods. Kyle completed a Ph.D. in educational leadership and policy at the University of Texas at Austin. He also holds an M.Ed. from Queen’s University, a B.Ed. from the University of Windsor, and both a B.A. and M.S. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
